It has been exactly one year since me and my partner embarked on the journey of purchasing our first home. As young professionals, I was daunted by the idea and initially began going to open houses without seriously considering going through the process and actually committing to purchasing a home. Meeting Felipe at our first Open House is the best thing that could have happened to us. Although we didn’t pursue the home he was showing, Felipe expressed a genuine interest in supporting us through the process to find a truly good fit. If it wasn’t for Felipe's consistency and dedication to getting us what we needed, we might not have become the homeowners we are today. Throughout the home buying process, Felipe went above and beyond as our realtor. He is well informed about the real estate market and is both accessible and professional. I was amazed out how seamless our process was. We decided to work with a lender that Felipe is connected to and the entire process only less than 2 months between finding our dream home and closing escrow! That is astounding to me considering that my peer's process was taking longer than 6 months. He was committed to getting us the best deal and was able to negotiate for us to pay below asking price. We would recommend Felipe to anyone selling or buying a home in the east bay. When difficulties arose in buying our house, Felipe was always prepared to handle the situation. He is a really great guy to work with, and we truly consider him a good friend. He has checked in on us regularly since we closed on our home to see how the transition went and sent us a wonderful holiday card. April 1st will mark 1 year in our home, and I will forever be grateful that we got to work with a realtor that was able to deliver and make my dream of owning a home in the city I grew up in a reality.

From the very beginning, Felipe was been nothing less than diligent, reliable, resourceful and more than anything, a man of his word. I first started the home buying process not at all ready to to purchase a home. Felipe was so resourceful and checked in with me from time to time to see how things were going. After almost 6 months, I finally felt ready, and called him up and the rest was history. Felipe connected us to a trustworthy lender and they were a great team. There were times I was nervous or I had concerns, he made it a priority to address my concerns. He fought for us the WHOLE way. Felipe was very strategic when it came to when to negotiate. Even after closing, Felipe has been there for us, ensuring that everything that was supposed to be done was done correctly. He even bought us an avocado tree for a house warming gift! This journey was definitely unfamiliar territory for us but we came out victorious in buying our first home thanks to Felipe. We learned a lot and we'll definitely call Felipe up when it's time to purchase the next home. Thank you Felipe! It feels so good to pull up to your own home everyday!
